The S4 Engineering team are happy to announce the opening of our new Service and Support Centre, located beside our existing site in Peterborough.
Over time, the service side of our business has grown to become a major part of what we do, keeping equipment running smoothly for clients across food and beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. With demand growing steadily, (and our acquisition of Alliance Fluid Handling’s service department), it became clear we needed to expand and increase our ability to support both our team and our customers properly, so that’s exactly what we’ve done.
What’s Changed?
The new centre is fully equipped and designed specifically to help us respond faster and work more efficiently, from urgent repairs to planned maintenance. It’s also a key part of supporting over 100 new customers who’ve recently joined us, following our acquisition of AFH’s Service Division.
Taking on AFH’s service commitments means we’re now supporting even more equipment, across a wider range of sites. The new building gives our engineers and service coordinators the tools they need to keep things running smoothly for everyone.
What We Work On
We maintain, repair, and support all sorts of hygienic process equipment, including:
- Valves
- Pumps
- Homogenisers
- Heat exchangers
- Other hygienic process equipment
Whether it’s one machine or a full system you need help with, we’re able to respond quickly to your site’s needs.
Around-the-Clock Support
We know issues don’t always happen 9-5. That’s why we offer 24/7 Service and Support contracts, so you can call us any time, day or night, and know help is on the way. These contracts are tailored to what you need, and include regular servicing, emergency callouts, and fast access to spares and support.
Why This Matters
For us, this expansion is about more than a new building. It’s about doing a better job for the people who rely on us. By having a dedicated centre, we can focus more clearly on service needs, respond faster, and support even more businesses as they grow.
We’re proud of the trust our customers put in us; those we’ve worked with for years, those who joined us through the AFH service transfer, and those we will work with in the future.
The new Service and Support Centre is all about giving our team the space and resources to support you better, whether that means faster response times, more efficient maintenance, or simply being there when you need us. No matter where you’re starting from, our aim is the same: to keep your equipment running reliably, safely, and with minimal disruption.
